MONYO is the studio of Tokyo-based ceramic artist Aiko Ishii.
Aiko exclusively uses Japanese clay & glaze, and create all pieces using hand-coiling technique (Tebineri).
Our tableware pieces are lightweight, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe —uncommon in art ceramics.

Born in 1997. Graduated from Tama Art University with a major in Ceramics in 2020.
Studied ceramics not only as tableware but as a material for three-dimensional expression.
After five years of working in the corporate world, she launched MONYO in 2025.
Currently pursuing ceramics that exist in the space between contemporary art and everyday objects.
